Eusoff Hall hosted its Plant-It-Forward event, bringing together alumni, donors, students, and University leaders to celebrate sustainability, philanthropy, and community. The event reflects the Hall's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship while strengthening support for students through meaningful giving.
Special guest Datin Hajah Ragayah attended the event, where a commemorative tree was dedicated in her honour to recognize the enduring relationship between the Eusoff family and the Hall. NUS President Prof Tan Eng Chye also participated by planting a tree alongside Eusoff Hall leaders, reaffirming the University's shared commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of the permanent Donor Tree installation, designed by Eusoff Hall alumnus Terence Tan and resident Damienn Foo. The installation serves as a lasting tribute to the generosity of alumni and donors whose contributions continue to strengthen the Hall community.
The event also marked the launch of the Plant-It-Forward Eusoff Hall Bursary, a new financial aid initiative that will provide greater support to students with financial needs while complementing the Hall's existing bursary programmes.

In total, 120 trees were planted across the Hall, further enhancing Eusoff Hall's green, biophilic environment and contributing to the University's sustainability efforts. To date, the Plant-It-Forward initiative has raised $74,000, with proceeds supporting both sustainability projects and bursaries that improve access to education.

The Plant-It-Forward initiative encourages residents to actively engage in environmental stewardship through tree-planting activities. It promotes greater awareness of sustainability, care for the environment, and long-term responsibility, while fostering a strong sense of collective ownership of green spaces within and beyond Eusoff Hall.
